Articulation
The Center for Speech and Language, T.C., LLC treats articulation disorders in children and adults.
Articulation is defined as the atypical production of speech sounds characterized by substitutions omissions, additions or distortion that may interfere with intelligibility.
Some examples of articulation difficulty may be saying, “moobie” for “movie”, “fwower” for “flower” or “ant” for “plant.”
Articulation disorder also includes “slurred” or slow speech.
Our staff is trained in the treatment of articulation disorders.
